Finneon Mermaid

Okay, so this is something I've wanted to do for a long, long time. That is, make mermaids of every water-type/water-dwelling/water-crossing pokemon. I've wanted to do this Gen I. And just several months ago, I started with this: Finneon! Now, obviously I'm not the first person to make pokemon mermaids, but I didn't want to only do the obvious ones. And also, I didn't want to just draw some cutesy anime chick, stick a tail on her and call it a day. I want my mermaids to actually resemble the pokemon. Mermaids, being a type of fairy, can be beautiful, but they can also be very dangerous. While pokemon like Finneon wouldn't necessarily want to drown anyone, Gorebyss is a different story. I want these mermaids to be beautiful in some ways, but I also want them to look just a bit creepy, or at the very least like they're not human. So Finneon first. More to follow.

Finneons live in tropical seas, deep enough to need to flash their magenta spots and stripes now and then, but they do spend time near the surface as well. The females have longer tail fins than the males.
